Andrew James Brinded

Vice-President & EMEA Sales Chief Operating Officer

Andrew Brinded is a business and sales leader in the Information Technology sector. He is known for his leadership in sales, strategy, deal structuring, people management, finance management, business development, marketing, client management and leadership development – skills he has deployed successfully across a broad set of business environments.

Andrew currently works for Nutanix, an Enterprise Cloud company, where he is Vice-President and EMEA Sales Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he was General Manager of Nutanix’s Western Europe and Sub-Saharan African business.

Historically, Andrew worked at QiO (an Internet of Things (IoT) Software-as-a-Service start-up), EMC and IBM, where success led to continual promotions in the Sales and Marketing functions. He holds two degrees, including a Masters from Southampton Business School. Andrew has completed executive training courses at Cambridge University, Cranfield University, Duke University and London Business School.

Andrew is married to Antonia, with two daughters, he enjoys sailing, squash, cycling and chess. He has always had an interest in politics and charity work, including serving as a Trustee for a Kenyan Orphanage.


Aaron White

Regional Director - METI, Nutanix

Aaron White joined Nutanix in November 2017 as Regional Director for the Middle East. He moved to Nutanix from Sage, where he was Regional Director.

Prior to that Aaron was General Manager – Middle East & Turkey at Hitachi Data Systems where he was instrumental in setting up operations in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt and Pakistan. In previous roles, he won several awards for multiple companies in the technology sector, including Citrix Systems, VMware, Sun Microsystems, and Unisys.

Aaron holds an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Liverpool and has more than 20 years of industry experience. He also has experience in both start-up and turnaround situations.


Julie O'Brien

SVP, Corporate Marketing

As the SVP of Corporate Marketing for Nutanix, Julie is responsible for leading global brand strategy, corporate communications, channel and alliance marketing, demand generation, corporate social responsibility, marketing operations, corporate events and regional marketing in APJ, Americas and EMEA.

She holds more than 20 years of global marketing and leadership experience from start-up to large enterprise companies including Good Technology, Box, Cisco and SightPath, which was acquired by Cisco. Julie serves on the board of advisors for Workforce Opportunity Services and Demand Spring.

She graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass with a B.A./M.B.A.

Haim Melamed

Senior Manager of Systems Engineering

Haim Melamed was recently appointed to the Systems Engineering Manager role in Nutanix Israel. In that role, Haim in in charge of leading our growing team of pre-sales individuals, as well as represent the company as the technology leader for the Israeli market, promoting the Nutanix solutions within our customer base and beyond.

Haim is joining us from VMware, where he spent the last five years as a Lead Systems Engineer for the government and commercial markets. His background includes over 25 years of experience as a pre-sales and marketing leader in the IT, Networking and Telecom markets, working for several market-leading companies including Cisco, Verint and AudioCodes.
